J+F's venture into glass began in 1984 after several years of working in photography. Before setting up the studio in 2000 he travelled widely recording images and impressions of his experiences, as well as working in studios and studying in the USA, Denmark and UK. He is an elected member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.

J+F have created numerous commissions for private, corporate and public spaces and has 19 years experience of creating artworks for marine vessels. In 2010 he was awarded an important ‘Museumaker’, Arts Council, commission to create a large exterior site specific sculpture for the award winning  museum, The Lightbox, in the UK.
