Steve

Stone is at the heart of what Steve makes, its hardness, colour, texture and imperfections dictate a lot of the creative process either as a block he imparts his ideas upon or as a unique stone that guides his ideas. Carving stone is hard work but Steve loves it, often getting lost for hours in the rhythms and feeling of unity between mind, hands and the material, a world away from what he had been used to.
